Product Designer & Creative Technologist
I've conceived, designed and built 10+ products of my own. Studying and developing markets, brand identities and user experiences. From idea to production, end to end.
Designer & Developer
I'm Érico Dias — born in Paris, raised in Portugal, based in Spain. A multicultural designer and developer who takes an idea from a name on a napkin to a live product available to the world.
Two decades turning ideas into brands, campaigns and complete digital products. I love working brand, experience and technology as one single system. My path runs across graphic design, apparel and web development, and countries like France, Portugal, Spain, Denmark, Luxembourg, Italy, Greece and the USA.
I'm AI-native, but hands-on with the engine underneath: I read and debug the code, work directly in HTML, CSS and React on the front-end, understand how a database is structured in SQL, and keep an eye out for security gaps and experience-design flaws. That lets me take an idea all the way to a real, working product — on my own.
I work end to end and learn fast. Curious, hands-on, and happiest when something finally goes live. Off the clock, I pour a lifelong love of music into Synth Back & Relax — my own illustration brand celebrating synthesizer culture, recognized within the synth community.
A rare full-stack of the creative process: I can hold the brand, the product and the build at once — and hand off clean work in any of them.
Ten products I named, designed and built — each a small world of its own. Click any to open it live.
More work
My own illustration brand celebrating synthesizer culture and electronic music — vibrant, retro and a little nostalgic. It has earned a place within the synth community.
Collaborations with Soundfreak · Dreadbox · Todd Barton (Buchla) · Sunndal
My clothing brand, founded in 2015. D.I.A.S. — “Determined Individual, Authentic Style”; in Spanish and Portuguese “días” means “days”. Illustration-driven garments about time, positive attitude and unforgettable moments.
I use generative tools as part of my process — concept art, motion and product visuals made with AI, then art-directed and finished by hand. Hover to play.
AI illustration libraries
Nearly two decades across design, communication and product — in studios, classrooms and brands.
From Italian synthesizer makers to Norwegian music schools — building creative systems across borders.
I do my best work with teams that decide, iterate fast and want to take real products to production. I especially enjoy the early phases — when there's still an idea to define, design and build.
Open to full-time, freelance and collaboration. If you're building something ambitious, I'd love to hear about it.
